Buying a house is headache enough but when it is in desperate need of cosmetic repair, you want to get situated even faster. So when my fiancee and I purchased a semi-fixer-upper, my plate was already full between plumbing, electrical, interior and landscaping issues, I didn't have the time for painting.
Being on the radio and living in this town for nearly twenty years, I have seen a lot of painting companies come and go, mostly because of shoddy workmanship, inflated prices or false promises. Ken Bauer doesnt fall in that category at all. He's a stand up guy. He backs his product and isn't satisfied until you are. His prices are very reasonable and his work ethic is incredible.
This house sat empty for a year and was neglected long before that. Ken's expertise and quality of work have really made our house come back to life and stand out from the rest. The neighbors are jealous at how good the place looks!
No doubt if I need any paint work done in the future, Ken Bauer is the only one I would call. Thanks, Ken. Excellent job!! I Oddo from "The Buckethead Show" on
Ken, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to paint my house. It came out wonderful. You are such a professional. You always show up when you say you are going to, you do exactly what you say you are going to do. You are very neat and clean and you are a very good painter. I really appreciate what you have done for us. We can not thank you enough. My friends homes that you have painted are thrilled and as you know I have recommended you to several more people as well. I would recommend you to anyone. Please feel free to use my name as a reference.

We met Ken at the Flagler Home Show in 2007 and it was a lucky day for us! We were in the process of renovating our house on A1A in
Flagler Beach
and we called him when we were ready to paint the outside. He did a beautiful job and so when we were ready to do the inside, we called Ken again. Our house is now finished and it looks spectacular --- also he came up with suggestions that we implemented and they were better than our original plans. All in all, I would recommend Ken Bauer to anyone who needs a good painter who not only has an eye for what will look good but is also a pleasure to deal with.

Dear Ken:Charlie and I would like to take sometime out of our busy schedules to thank you for the fabulous job you have done on our house. Family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers were saying when we started this "BIG" project that they thought I was crazy as the house was only five years old and why would I want the house repainted. I remember whan Charlie and I met you and your dad at the the Flagler Home Show in 2008 and then you came to the house to give us a price on the all the rooms in the house being painted with "one color" but, when we finished the plans it was different as you know. I want everyone to know that we took out all the carpets, installed hardwood floors, installed crown molding inevery room and remodel my two bathrooms, now changing all the colors. If it wasn't for you Ken working with us room by room with all those other contractors I don't know how I would have madeit. Charlie and I could always count on you. I felt like you were part of our family.Since, the job was completed several friends and co-workers have been to the house to see the finish project. They were so impressed with your work and colors/special texure on the walls you did in my kitchen. They now have your name and phone number and can't wait for you to start their project.Charlie and I can't put into words how happy we are with the work you have done on our house. You have a special talent and your personality is a plus. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!!Sincerly,Lois Re Ortiz
When I first got the house, it was in need of a lot of work. The landscaping was seriously over grown, it needed some carpentry work, but most of all, the paint was about 20 years old, and peeling off of the house. Just after I got the house in my name, I started receiving citations from the city of
Daytona Beach
about code violations, mainly dealing with the paint. I called Ken Bauer Painting and set an appointment. When he came to the house he explained everything, in detail, about what needed to be done, how it needed to be done, and why they needed to be done a certain way. He gave me a very reasonable price, and got started right away.
The difference in the before and after was incredible. Ken was even able to salvage the painting next to the front door that was painted by my Aunt who owned the house before me. He not only salvaged it, but was able to clear coat over it to preserve it for me. People that I have sent pictures of the house to, never believe it’s the same house in the pictures, until I point out the painting next to the front door. My girlfriend actually drove past the house when ever she came over for several days. After seeing the results on the outside of the house, I decided to have Ken paint the kitchen as well.
I could not be more pleased with the job Ken did on my house. And when it comes time to paint again, I will be calling Ken Bauer .

I just had our home repainted by K and M Painters.
I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the job.
1. Very fair price.
2. Showed up exactly on time each of the 5 days they were here.
3. Used Sherwin Williams “Resilience” paint (one of their best-Life Time warranty paints)
4. Gave a very detailed written estimate.
5. Requires no down payment and no payment until job is finished to customers satisfaction.
6. Exceptional work quality and thoroughness.
I would gladly have anyone from our community call me and come by to see our home first hand and examine the quality of their workmanship.
I strongly recommend them and will being doing our friends and neighbors a good deed putting them on our website.

Hi Ken,
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend in Key West. Just so you know, you’ve been on our minds pretty much every waking minute. It’s downright crazy how much your “Lindroth paint job” has meant to us. I’d say you have no idea just how important it was, but I’m confident that you truly do know. Ed and I have been walking around observing various times of the day and how the light changes this amazing Welcome White and the ever popular Captivating Cream in our living space. Without exaggeration it is a total transformation!
And just as important as the transformation is, your making it happen is even more important. You “got us”, and we are completely blown away. You said that the only thing you do is paint, but you did far more than that for us. You did an amazing job, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Not only were you completely professional about the job, to us it was more like you were painting your own home. I can’t think of anything more fitting to say. When we first chatted with you, you made it clear and believable that our being satisfied was the only thing that mattered. That puts you into a very, very small category of professionals. The most amazing thing is that you made good on your words. I know I’m gushing, but cripes sakes, we’re just overwhelmed by all this.
No need to belabor my vision problems, but you made my world a brighter place, and I’ll be forever grateful, as will Ed. We hope we weren’t too overly demanding or fussy even though we pretty much figure that we were just that. However, you never ever made us feel that way, no matter what you might have been thinking. We will be happy to be one of your “stories”. Please feel free to use us a reference to anyone that is a hard sell, although your reputation has already made you an easy sell! We look forward to seeing you sometime in February.
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Sylvia and Ed Lindroth
